Today we had Scuba Diver course starting with two students at Sunabe Seawall.

The guests were, from the left, Marina, Ethan and Alena.

Marina and Alena are from Russia and are living in Japan. They speak Japanese fluently. Unbelievable.
In the meantime, Ethan have lived in Japan for a while and is leaving on the 4th of August.
Today Marina and Ethan took a course while Alena snorkelled.

Studying a bit before going to the sea. They were very smart.

And we entered the water.
They both were very good underwater. It really was a good start for the course.

今日はスクーバダイバーの初日を砂辺で行ってきました。

ゲストはロシアからマリーナとアレーナ、アメリカからイーサン、の計３人です。
と言っても、実はみんな日本に住んでいます。
マリーナとアレーナは日本語がもうペッラペラ。ロシア人ってなぜかペラペラの人が多い気がする。
そしてイーサンは４日には長く滞在した日本からアメリカに帰るらしい。
そんなメンバーの今日は、マリーナとイーサンがコースを受講しに来て、アレーナはスノーケリングをしてました。

海へいく前に復習も兼ねて、学科の勉強をしたけど、まあ飲み込みが速い。無問題。

そしていざお待ちかねの海に入ると、ここではあっという間に水に慣れて、サクサク進んでいきました。
とてもいい初日でした。

みんな今日は来てくれてありがとう。
ダイビング、楽しいでしょ？でも明日はもっと楽しいはず。
みんな今日は寝不足気味だったからゆっくり寝て、そして明日の朝会おう！！

Today we went to Kerama islands for fun diving.

The guests were Ben and Jade. Today was their last day diving with us.

The condition was even better than yesterday. Look at this view.

In the 1st dive, we were welcomed by the giant green turtle.
Actually there is a spotted sand perch sitting in front of the turtle.

Not a bad start.

A sea snake swimming over the sand.

Clown anemone fishes.

Garden eels.

A bit crowded.

Beautiful sea fans.

And here we go!! They got to jump to finish the day.

Think they enjoyed diving and a day out in the islands at full.

Thanks so much Jade and Ben for diving with us for two days. I had such a great time with you two.
Unfortunately we couldn't see sharks but you will see them some time so keep diving.

今日はケラマ諸島までファンダイビングに行ってきました。

ゲストは昨日に引き続きジェイドとベン。２日目です。

今日のコンディションは良かった昨日よりさらに波も落ち、まさに最高。夏全開、って感じでした。

１本目はいきなりどデカいアオウミガメに出迎えられました。渡名喜と違って逃げない彼ら。
その後も、チンアナゴ、二人のお気に入り・ウミヘビ、クマノミたくさん、無数のデバスズメの群れ、小さい伊勢エビ、等々色々登場してくれました。

そして最後には締めのジャンプ。飛ばずにはいられない二人。一人ずつ回転を入れながら飛んだあとは、最後に二人一緒に飛んでました。いいね。

ジェイド、ベン、２日間ありがとう。とても楽しい時間を過ごせたよ。サメこそ見れなかったけど、ダイビング続けて、って言うメッセージだとしとこう。
残りの沖縄・日本滞在も楽しんで、気をつけてオーストラリアに帰って。

また会える日を楽しみにしてまーす。

In such a nice weather and sea condition, we today went to Tonaki island for fun diving.
Tonaki is located further west from Kerama islands and offers some of the best dives in Okinawa.

The guests were Ben and Jade from Australia yeeey!! Love that accent!!

The 1st dive was at Blue Hole. There is a nice long cave in there.
As the name says.

There were lots of lobsters inside the cave.

And a lion fish.

So blue.

The 2nd dive was at Anjela Guchi which is famous for turtles.

We saw more than ten. They were everywhere.

Cruising a bit.

And the last dive was at Blue Corner which has a nice steep drop-off with zillions of fishes.

Very happy.

And wrapping up a day with jumping from the boat.

Thanks Jade and Ben for coming and diving with us today. We had great three dives, huh?
And tomorrow we will be heading to Kerama islands so have a rest tonight and see yous tomorrow morning!!

今日は快晴かつ抜群なコンディションの中、ケラマ諸島を越えて、渡名喜島まで行ってきました。
渡名喜島はケラマより少し北西にある有人島で、沖縄本島有数のダイビングスポットがあることで有名です。

そんなラッキーゲストはベンとジェイド、オーストラリアからです。懐かしのオージーアクセント！！

１本目は神秘的な洞窟のある、ブルーホールで。
実際中に入ると伊勢エビがたくさん。何も言いません。そして出口の青さはもう圧巻の一言。

２本目はカメで有名なアンジェラ口。
期待を裏切らずに、１０匹以上は見ました。ただここのカメはシャイですぐに逃げてってしまう。

ランチを挟んだあとの３本目は、急なドロップオフとそこに群れる何万というカラフルな魚たちに言葉を失う、ブルーコーナー。
こんなカスミチョウチョウウオの群れ、ここ以外には見たことないってくらい群れてました。

いやー、渡名喜最高。

ジェイド、ベン、今日はありがとね。ホント今日は素晴らしいダイビングだったね。ライセンス取ったかいあったでしょ？
そして明日はケラマ諸島に行きます。なので今日はゆっくり休んで、また明日の朝ね。

Today we went to Kerama islands for fun diving.
We were a bit worried about the after effect of the typhoon, but there was nothing at all. The visibility was even better than before.

The guests were Cammy and Colin from Hong Kong.
They were here in Okinawa for a short vacation.

The reef with fishes. How clear.

Happy.

A lion fish in a hole, then it happened.....

My camera got flooded!!!!
I have no words to describe the feeling when I found the water inside the case. Divers would know it...
There were many should-have-s. It was the third time for me...
But it is no use crying over spilt milk.

And diving went on and we had great three dives.

In the 1st dive, after the camera incident, one white tip reef shark swam towards us and got less than a metre away, then turned around and swam away.

In the 2nd dive. The view of the big patch of branch corals was incredible. Just beautiful.

And we saw so many turtles in the 3rd dive. They were everywhere.

No photos to prove them, hahaha!!

Thanks Cammy and Colin for coming and diving with us today.
We really had great dives today, huh? You guys were the only proof.

今日はケラマ諸島までファンダイビングに行ってきました。
週末通過した、と言うか擦って行った台風の影響が少し心配でしたが、全く問題なし！！透明度なんて台風前よりも良かったです。

ゲストはカミーとコリン、香港からです。

１本目エントリーすると、もうホントに青く透き通った世界が広がっていました。サンゴの上は小魚の群れでいっぱい。

定番の穴の中をのぞくと、そこにはいつも通りミノカサゴが待っていてくれました。
そして事件発生。

カメラ浸水。水没確定。

あのケース内に水を見た時の気持ちは何と表現していいのか。分かる人はたくさんいるはず。
はー、３回目。

ま、そんな事件とは関係なく、今日のダイビングはホントに最高。

まずカメラ事件の後に、サメ（ネブリブカ）が自分たちの方に突っ込んできました。１m切るくらいまで接近して、そして方向代えてどっか行っちゃいました。興奮と少しばかりの緊張。
２本目では枝サンゴの群生がもう綺麗。天気もよかったので太陽に照らされて、もううっとりするほどの景色。
そして３本目はカメ大爆発。そこら中、ってのは今日のためにある言葉。

ま、何も写真はないけどねー。（泣）

カミー、コリン、今日はありがとね。
ホンッットにいいダイビングだったでしょ？みんなに言って。二人の目だけが証拠です。
残りの沖縄滞在も楽しんで。そしてまた会える日を楽しみにしてまーす。

Today we went to Kerama islands for fun diving.
It was the 5th day of five days-in-a-row. We love Kerama!!

Today's guests were George, Karen and Tim from England.
Today was their last day diving in Okinawa.

Started with turtles.
We saw many turtles in last three days. How lucky!!

And everyone loves Nemo.

Yellow anemone fish.

This fish got some creatures on her face.

Hope she is fine.

Reef was full of colourful small fishes.

And we headed to Twin Rocks for the third dive. It was their request.

今日はケラマ諸島にファンダイビングに行ってきました。
今日はケラマ５日連続のの５日目、毎日行ってもまだ行きたい！！

ゲストはこれまた３日連続の最終日になるイングランドからの３人家族、ジョージ、カレン、ティムです。

今日のスタートはカメから。この３日間でホントにたくさん見たなー。３人はカメ運持ってるはず。
その後も、クマノミ、ウツボ、タコ、顔に変な生物が着いてて大丈夫か心配になった魚（アジアコショウダイ）、リーフの上にはカラフルな小魚の群れ、等々盛りだくさん。

そして休憩後の３本目は、３人からどうしてももう一度行きたい！！ってリクエストもらってた、黒島ツインロックへ。
そこに今日も最高の景色が。
サメ、でっかいフグ、ミノカサゴ、グルクンの群れ、急なドロップオフとそこに群れるカラフルな無数の魚たち、一面に広がるソフトコーラル、etc...
これがケラマ、そしてダイビングの醍醐味！！って感じ。
３人も大満足でした。

ジョージ、カレン、ティム、３日間ありがとう。
沖縄の海はどうだった？かなり気に入ってくれてたみたいで嬉しかったです、
明日はゆっくり観光楽しんで。そして気をつけて帰って。
