A beautiful winter day.

Today we went to Kerama islands for fun diving.

The guests were Rowena and Rohan from UK. They are currently travelling in Japan for three weeks.

The water in the islands was beautiful and good in visibility as usual.

We found a small frog fish.

And a green turtle.

今日はとても天気のいい冬晴れの中、ケラマまでファンダイビングに行ってきました。

ゲストはロウィーナとローハン、イギリスからです。でもイングランドではないですよ。

今日は久々のケラマだったけど、やっぱいいですね、下がった水温を除いては。。。
透明度も良く、生物もチンアナゴ、アオウミガメ、クマノミたくさん、ウツボ、カエルアンコウ、デバスズメダイの群れ、枝サンゴの群生、等々、次から次へと楽しめました。
そんな中、２人もとても気持ち良さそうに泳ぎ、浮かんでました。
年内あと何回来れるのかな？

ロウィーナ、ローハン、今日はありがとう。
とても気持ちのいい１日になったね。楽しんでくれてたみたいで良かったです。

そして明日は万座にもうちょっと攻めのダイビングに行きます。期待しててー。

Today we went to Cape Kin for fun diving.

The guest was Nadi from Singapore.
It was very windy and cold so we needed a hood vest.

The sea got rough on the west coast due to the strong north wind, so we headed to the east side today.
The visibility was pretty good over there.

And a fat white tip reef shark was sitting in the hole on the bottom.

A baby turtle was swimming away. She swam very fast.

Nadi caught the attention of the sea snake.

Beautiful corals, and more.

Although the condition was not ideal, we saw some cool creatures. Hope you enjoyed diving there and got some nice shots of them.

今日は金武岬までファンダイビングをしに行ってきました。

ゲストはナディ、シンガポールからです。

今日は風が強く肌寒く、西海岸はとても荒れていました。でもそんな時は東がアツい！とばかりに行ってみると、水面はパチャパチャしてましたが、透明度は抜群。

そんな中、いきなり水底の穴の中にまるまる太ったサメを見つけ、その後も子供のカメに遭遇したかと思えばびっくりしたのか超ダッシュで逃げられ、そんな時は逃げないクマノミ達をじっくり写真に収め、あとは色んなサンゴの群生を見て回り、なかなか充実した２ダイブになりました。

ナディ、今日はありがとう。ベストなコンディションではなかったけど、楽しんでくれてたようで良かったです。また潜りに来て。
そして明日からは本州旅行も楽しんでね。

Blue Blue Cave

Intro diving @ Cape Maeda / 体験ダイビング＠真栄田岬

Today we went to Cape Maeda for intro diving.

The guest was Di from New Zealand.

The condition was pretty good at Cape Maeda today.
There are not millions of people there anymore since the season was over. You will be able to enjoy the cave as long as you want, and you can be possibly alone inside if you are lucky.

Di was very comfortable underwater. She got used to it quick and enjoyed cruising for 40mins.

The Blue Cave was blue cave today.

A school of friendly batfish appeared and swam around us.

How was diving at Blue Cave? I could tell you were so into the fishes. Hope you enjoyed it.

今日は真栄田岬に体験ダイビングを行いにいってきました。
ゲストはディー、ニュージーランドからです。

今日の真栄田岬はコンディションが抜群でした。
もう長く続いたシーズンもほぼ終わりで、ダイバーやスノーケリングする人もかなり減り、青の洞窟ももう居たい放題。運が良ければ一人きりになれることだってあります。

そんな中、ディーは水に慣れるのがとても速く、洞窟に魚と水中世界をじっくり楽しんでいました。

ディー、今日はありがとう。
ダイビングはどうだった？かなりのめり込んでたのが伝わってきたけど。

残りの沖縄滞在も楽しんで、また機会あったらライセンス取りにおいでー。

Gigantic!!

Today we went to explore the dive sites.
The condition was actually pretty good in the morning, but it was supposed to get nasty in the afternoon so we needed hurry.

And we had nice encounters with the big and small, huge and tiny creatures.

A giant napoleon wrasse. I heard she had been spotted there once in a while but it was my first time. Adrenalin pumping!!

We really had great dives. Hope we have a chance to take the guests there.

今日は調査ダイビングに行ってきました。
朝は抜群のコンディションでしたが、午後から風がまわり強くなるとのことだったので、急いで２ダイブしてきました。

そして数々の素晴らしい出会いが。
キンチャクガニ，珍しいサンタの様なピグミーシーホース、たくさんのウミウシ、そして特大のナポレオンフィッシュが出た時はカメラを構えながら興奮が止まりませんでした。

お客さんを連れてく機会があったらいいなー、と思いました。

Today we went to the deep wreck, USS Emmons.

The guest was Victor for his last day diving with us. Mucho gracias!!

USS Emmons is the American warship sunken during the World War 2. Its body is 100mtrs/330ft long and it has been sitting on the bottom in 40mtrs/130ft long of the sea near Kouri island since then.
Now it is popular among the experienced divers.

The condition was not as good as we expected and there were whitecaps all over.

But we made it.

The 1st dive was from the centre to the bow.
Huge cannon.

And during the interval, a local fisherman treated us a fresh sashimi. Yummy.

The 2nd dive was from the stern to the centre.

We had great dives in spite of the bad weather.

今日は北部に眠る沈船、USS エモンズまで潜りに行ってきました。

ゲストはヴィクトール、最終日です。ホントありがとー。

今日はコンディションが思ったほど良くなく、海を見るとそこには白波が立ちまくっていて、なかなかの荒れ模様。
でもいざ意を決して出航！

ポイントに着くと、水面こそバチャバチャして揺れたけど、水中は流れも強くなく好コンディション。
そんな中１本目は、センターから船首にかけて潜り、どデカい大砲や、人より大きい碇、そして最前部から船首の全体像、等じっくり見てきました。

休憩中に地元漁師が刺身をもてなしてくれると言う嬉しいサプライズがあり、ノリノリで向かった２本目は船尾からセンターをじっくり見ました。
そこには魚雷、キール部分、これまた超巨大なプロペラ、等々があり、ヴィクトールもGoProで熱心に動画におさめてました。

天気こそ曇り・雨模様だったけど、そんなの関係なく素晴らしいダイビングになりました。

ヴィクトール、３日間ありがとう！
沖縄のダイビングはどうだった？ヨーロッパとはまた違うでしょ？楽しんでくれてたら嬉しいです。いい動画取れてたら送ってねー。

そして明日からの本州の旅も楽しんで。ホンットにたくさん見るとこはあるから。
