Today we went to Kerama islands for fun diving.
The guest was Max from US. What a beautiful day.

And the day like this, crevasses are beautiful.

Famous(?) "Kissing rocks".

A big napoleon fish in the distance.

Just one nudie branch today.

But more than 10 turtles. No kidding.

This one getting cleaned by fishes.

Here is the movie of 6 green turtles within a 10mtrs/30ft square.

We had great day in the islands.

今日はケラマ諸島までファンダイビングに行って来ました。
ゲストはアメリカから来てくれたマックスです。ただいまアジアをバックパッキング中。

今日も相変わらず快晴・穏やかな海、と絶好のダイビング日和。

そんな中クレバスを通り、上から降りそそぐ太陽光線にうっとりしたり、突然現れたどデカいナポレオンフィッシュにびっくりしたり、そしてそして計１０匹以上のアオウミガメ達に遭遇したり、と、とても楽しい３ダイブになりました。

マックス、今日はありがとねー。
ケラマでのダイビング、どうだった？楽しんでくれたみたいで良かったです。自慢のカメラでいい写真が撮れてるといいね。
この後行く宮古でもダイビング楽しんでね。

Today we went to Kerama islands for fun diving.

今日はケラマ諸島までファンダイビングに行ってきました。
ゲストはマリリン、シンガポールから来てくれました。

いやー、もう夏本番だねー。水温はグングン上がってるし、透明度ももう夏のそれ。
そんな中リーフの上ではキンギョハナダイをはじめとしたカラフルな魚達が大爆発していて、カメポイントに行けばアオとタイマイの２種類・計５匹登場。そして暖かくなったとはいえ、たまに見つけるウミウシにはやっぱカメラを向けたくなるし、まあ忙しい。

ダイビングがとっても気持ちのいい時期になりました。

マリリン、今日はありがとね。
沖縄でのダイビング、どうだった？気に入ってくれてたら嬉しいです。
残りの滞在も楽しんで、また来る時は教えてね。

Go Wide - Day 3 ~ USS Emmons

Today we dove the deep wreck in the north, USS Emmons.

The guest was Ima-chan on his last day. He had been wanting to dive Emmons and finally made it.

The weather was gorgeous.

His camera.

Emmons is 100mtrs/330ft long and sitting down at the depth of 40mtrs/130ft, so we usually do two dives to cover its entire body.
So the 1st dive was from the stern to the centre.
The current was very weak at the surface, but the deeper we went, the stronger it got. Unusual.

And the 2nd dive was from the bow to the stern.

A huge anchor.

With a bit of decompression stops, we covered and enjoyed its entire body.

今日は北部に眠る沈船・USS エモンズまで行ってきました。
ゲストはいまちゃん、３日目かつ最終日です。念願のエモンズ、ついに行けたねー。

そんな今日は快晴で水面もほぼ流れナシ、の最高のコンディション。と思いきや、潜行するに従ってだんだん流れが強くなる、と言うレアな現象。４０mに横たわるエモンズに辿り着く頃にはかなりの流れになっていました。

とは言え、そこは経験豊富ないまちゃん。そんな中でもどデカいカメラで色んな部分の写真を撮りまくっていました。

少し減圧出たけど、２ダイブで全長１００mのボディーをくまなく見て、無事終了。いつ見てもその存在感、圧倒されるねー。

いまちゃん、３日間ありがとう。
念願のエモンズはどうだった？期待を裏切らなかったでしょ？写真が楽しみだね。
また一緒に潜れるのを楽しみにしてます。

Watch out!! A gigantic cuttle-fish is attacking a diver.

Today we went to Kerama islands for fun diving.
The guest was Ima-chan on his 2nd day. Him chillaxing in a crack...

The visibility was awesome today, or I would say, as usual. And we set the wide angle lens and looked for something cool.
Beautiful reef with millions of tiny colourful fishes.

A vertical drop-off down to 40mtrs/130ft.

今日はケラマ諸島までファンダイビングに行ってきました。
ゲストは昨日に続いていまちゃんです。今日もワイドレンズを付けての写真大会。

今日はリーフとドロップオフをメインに回りました。
リーフにはもう数えきれないほどのカラフルな幼魚・小さな魚達が文字通り乱舞していて、その他にもイソバナやソフトコーラルの群生がとても綺麗でした。
垂直に切り立ったドロップオフはとてもダイナミックで、カスミチョウチョウウオやグルクンの群れが群れていました。

もちろんカメ、サメ、コブシメをはじめに、色んな魚にも出会い、とても気持ちのいい３ダイブになりました。

いまちゃん、今日もありがとう。
今日も天候にも恵まれ、楽しいダイビングになったね。いい写真は撮れたかな？

そして明日はワイドな日々の締めくくりにはもってこいの、沈船・USS エモンズに行きます！！いやー、もうこれ以上の被写体は無いんじゃない！？楽しみだねー。
