A very blue "Blue Cave" to ourselves.


Today we went to Cape Maeda and Sunabe Seawall for fun diving.
The guest was Tim from Australia. He's gonna dive with us for over a week, let's have a blast!


The weather was still not the best and it rained all day long. However, we get wet anyway!

The visibility was very good today.





We struggled to find dive sites but managed to have two good dives in a very clear water.

We will go to Kerama islands tomorrow so let's get our fingers crossed for the sea condition!

今日は真栄田岬と砂辺海岸でファンダイビングをしてきました。
ゲストはオーストラリアから来てくれたティムでした。これから１週間よろしく！

今日もあいにくの空模様・海模様で、ポイントを探すのに一苦労しました。
それでも水の中は透明度抜群で、生き物・地形・サンゴと満喫してきました。

真栄田岬では人気者のツバメウオが良い形の群れをなして泳いでいてくれ、洞窟に入ればそこは完全貸し切りの真っ青“青の洞窟”でした。
２本目は砂辺に移動して、ソフトコーラルと小さな生物たちをメインに見て楽しみました。

ティム、今日はありがとう。
沖縄でのダイビングの初日、どうだった？予定変更にはなってしまったけど、結果いいポイントで潜れて良かったね。気に入ってくれてたら嬉しいです。
明日はケラマ予定。海が荒れない事を祈りましょー。

 Today we went to Manza for fun diving.


The guest was Hugo on his 2nd day.


Descending into "Mini Dream Hole".

There are lots of tunnels, caves, holes, and crevasses, etc, at Manza.


Also, you will see many macro creatures there.

We also saw a moray eel, a white tip reef shark x 3, sea snakes, etc..

今日は万座までファンダイビングに行ってきました。
ゲストは昨日に続いてヒューゴでした。

今日も空はあいにく曇っていましたが、水の中は見どころ満載。
ミニドリームホールを始め万座名物の地形を楽しみ、本島随一のハードコーラルの群生に見とれ、ウミウシなどの小さな生物はあちらこちらにいて、そうかと思えばネムリブカは計３匹見れました。
とてもバラエティに富んだ３ダイブになりました。

ヒューゴ、２日間ありがとね。
沖縄でのダイビング、どうだった？海のコンディションに恵まれ、大物小物色々見れて良かったね。楽しんでくれて良かったです。
残りの沖縄・日本での時間も楽しんで、またいつか潜りに来てー。
ではではまたその日まで。

Napoleon wrasse!


Today we went to Kerama islands for fun diving.
The guest was Hugo from Australia.


Although it was rainy today, we had the south wind which made us get to the sites for the summer time.

Gorgeous branch corals with tons of tiny colourful fishes.



Green turtles.





Snake eel.



We also saw cuttle fishes, garden eels, octopus, etc...
We had great 3dives in a steady rain. (We get wet anyway!!)

How was the diving in Kerama islands? Hope you enjoyed a day out there.
We are planning to go to Cape Maeda tomorrow. Fingers crossed for the sea condition!

今日はケラマ諸島までファンダイビングに行ってきました。
ゲストはオーストラリアから来てくれたヒューゴでした。

今日は天気こそあいにくの雨模様でしたが、冬には珍しい南風が吹いていて、夏のポイントにも行くことが出来ました。ラッキー。
出会えた生き物は、いきなりのどデカいナポレオンフィッシュ。１０分以上近くをウロウロしてくれました。
その後もコブシメx２、アオウミガメx４、タコ、チンアナゴ、ミナミホタテウミヘビ、等々、たくさんの生き物が次々と顔を出してくれました。
とても楽しい３ダイブになりました。

ヒューゴ、今日はありがとう。
ケラマでのダイビング、どうだった？素晴らしいでしょ？気に入ってくれて良かったです。
明日は真栄田岬へ行く予定。海は大丈夫かな？

Jan 13-16th - Scuba Diver Course

We had Scuba Diver course over the weekend.


The guests were Jon, Audrey, and Greg from US.


The cold weather of the last week was totally over and now the weather is absolutely gorgeous in Okinawa. Can't believe it's winter now.


So is the underwater.


We did 5dives last two days.


The struggled a bit in the beginning but improved very quickly. Such fast learners!

Dining between diving. Warm Okinawa soba. Yum-yum.


They performed all the skills nice and smoothly so are officially a certified diver now.

Congratulations Jon, Audrey, and Greg on completing Scuba Diver course.
You guys truly deserved it after such a hard work.
This is not the end but the start of your new adventure so dive as much as possible and enjoy the amazing underwater world! Dive safe and hope to see you guys again for fun diving!

先週末から今日にかけてスクーバダイバーコースを行ってきました。
ゲストはアメリカからのジョン、オードレイ、グレッグの３人組でした。

最近の沖縄は、先週日本全体に猛威を振るった寒気もおさまり夏日に届こうかという素晴らしい陽気。絶好のダイビング日和でした。
そんな中、初日のクラスルームから始まり、慣れない水の中での色んなスキルトレーニング、中性浮力の練習、コンパスナビゲーション等の専門的なスキル、等々、３人とも苦戦しながら無事全部終えました。
ホントにどんどん吸収して、見違えるほどに上達しました。スゴい、の一言。

ジョン、オードレイ、グレッグ、３日間お疲れさま。無事認定です。
でもここからがスタート。色んな場所で潜って、色んな経験してダイビングをもっともっと好きになってって。そしていつでもファンダイビングしに来てね。楽しみにしてます。

 Today we went to Manza for fun diving.


The guests were Erin from South Korea, Sabrina and Brian from US. It is raining but we get wet anyway!!


Even if it was cloudy and rainy, it was nice and calm and very clear underwater.

And we came across a huge green turtle just before surfacing in the 3rd dive. Lucky!!

We were a bit worried about the sea condition but managed to do 3dives before the sea gets nasty. Hope everyone enjoyed the diving today.

今日は万座までファンダイビングに行ってきました。
ゲストは韓国からエリン、そしてアメリカからサブリナとブライアン、の３人でした。

今日はあいにくの天気でしたが、海の中はとても穏やか。そんな中、今日もたくさんの生物と万座が誇る地形を楽しんできました。

まずはいつにも増して見かけたウミヘビ。
思いっきり背伸び（？）してたウツボ。
２匹で取り込み中のタコ。
ウミウシ。
穴で休むネムリブカ。
そして最後に登場どデカいアオウミガメ。
その他にもミニドリームホールやオーバーヘッドロックで縦穴やクレバスにも入り、とてもバラエティに富んだ３ダイブになりました。

みんな今日はありがとう。
何とか海のコンディションも持ちこたえてくれ、そして色々見れて楽しかったね。喜んでくれて良かったです。
残りの滞在も楽しんでって、またいつか潜りに来てねー。
