Snorkelling in Okinawa

Snorkelling @ Cape Maeda / スノーケリング @ 真栄田岬

Today we went to Cape Maeda for snorkelling.

The guests were a friendly group of four from Taiwan. Some have done snorkelling before, some have not.

The sea was wavier than we expected and we couldn't make it to Blue Cave. So we headed to Yamada and enjoyed corals and colourful fishes.

We encountered with a cuttle fish.

Also, we saw sea cucumbers, lots of anemone fishes including Nemo, etc.

今日は真栄田岬までスノーケリングに行って来ました。
ゲストは台湾から来てくれた４人組です。スノーケリング経験者もいれば、初めての人もいました。

そんな今日はあいにく波が高く、希望の青の洞窟までは行けませんでした。それでもサンゴとそこに群れる色とりどりの魚達を見て楽しんできました。
クマノミや、色んな種類のナマコ、そして最後にはコブシメまで登場してくれ、とても楽しいスノーケリングになりました。

みんな今日はありがとね。
ちょっと水面がバチャバチャしてたけど、それでも色々見れて良かったね。沖縄での良い思い出になったかな？残りの滞在も楽しんでってー。

Today we went to Cape Maeda for intro diving.

The guests were Alan and Kenji from Canada. They are currently travelling in Japan.

The coral planting station at Yamada. Corals were still healthy and lively there.

We encountered with a school of friendly batfish at Cape Maeda.

Inside the Blue Cave. Glad it was not that busy.

So we surfaced and had a look at the inside above the water.

Gotta do this!

今日は真栄田岬まで体験ダイビングを行いにいってきました。
ゲストはアランとケンジ、カナダから来てくれました。

１本目はクマノミで有名な山田から。
ここにはサンゴを養殖しているエリアがあるんだけど、白化が進んでなくとても綺麗でした。そんなサンゴを見ながら、そこに群れるデバスズメダイやチョウチョウウオの群れや隠れてるフグを見てきました。

そして２本目はお待たせ、真栄田岬・青の洞窟。台風後やっと今日から行けるようになりました。
しばらく閉まっていたせいか、洞窟はかなり青く感じられ、外では相変わらず人なつこいツバメウオの群れ達が近寄って来てくれました。

これからコンディションもどんどん回復してくだろうし、ダイビングはやっぱいいね。

アラン、ケンジ、今日はありがとう。
沖縄でのダイビング、どうだった？日本旅行の思い出の一つになったら嬉しいです。
残りの滞在も楽しんで、そしてライセンス所持者としてまた来てくれる日を楽しみにしてます。

Kamehame Ha!!

Today we went to Motobu for fun diving.

The sea was very rough at the most of the diving sites in Okinawa and probably all the boat was cancelled today. Then, let's go to Gorilla Chop!!

The guest was Jana from Czech Republic.

We saw some cool stuff there today.

We had nice, relaxing, and long two dives today.

今日は本部までファンダイビングに行ってきました。
ゲストはチェコから来てくれたヤナです。ただいま日本を旅行中。

今日は通過した台風のせいで、どこもかしこも海は荒れ荒れ。船もどこも出てないのではないかなー？
そんな時はココ、”ゴリチョ”が頼りになります。水深が浅いので、かなり長い２ダイブをしてきました。
出会った生物は、ウミウシ、ミノカサゴ、ゴンズイ玉、クマノミたーくさん、等々。
ヤナは自分のカメラで忙しく写真を撮ってました。

ヤナ、今日はありがとねー。
ゴリチョでのダイビング、どうだった？明日からガンガン潜るらしいから、そのいい準備になったかな？ケラマは来週行くから楽しみにしてて。

They were very very good comfortable underwater. Almost certified.

Although the typhoon is heading towards Okinawa, Manza is still divable.

ゲストはアメリカからクリスティーナとデイビッド、そして昨日に続いてリンとドニーの計４人。

ゆっくりと台風は近づいてますが、まだ海は何とか潜れました。
そんな中出会った生き物は、カエルアンコウ、ピグミーシーホース、どデカいアオウミガメ、ウミウシちらほら、ニシキフウライウオ、クマノミ多数、ウミヘビ、etc.
万座は色々会えてホントに楽しいです。

Although the sea was a bit wavy and it was windy as well due to the typhoons #14 and #16, the condition was still good and we saw many cool stuff.

今日は万座までファンダイビングに行ってきました。
ゲストは中国から来てくれたドニーとリンです。

去った台風１４号と向かってる台風１６号のせいで、風が強く、また水面は少し波立っていましたが、それでもコンディションは思ったほど悪くなく、ひと安心。

出会った生き物は、主のどデカいアオウミガメ、シーズンはまだ先・ウミウシ数種、久しぶりのニシキフウライウオ、色鮮やかなハードパンチャー・モンハナシャコ、クマノミいっぱい、チンアナゴ、米粒ほどのツマジロオコゼ、カエルアンコウx２、ミナミホタテウミヘビ、ウミテング、etc.

珍しいのも含めてたくさんの生き物が見れ、これぞ万座！って感じでした。

ドニー、リン、今日はありがとう。
万座、どうだった？かなりいいでしょ？いい写真が撮れてたらいいね。
