The long weekend was over and the silence came back here in Okinawa.

Today we went to Cape Maeda for intro diving.
The guest was Philippe from France. He is currently working in a mainland Japan and came to Okinawa for a short vacation.

By the way it got very quiet today. There were only us and one more group on a boat.
Lots of spaces on a boat.

And I haven't seen Cape Maeda this quiet for a long time, and also this super flat condition!!

We were welcomed by three bat fishes.

We directly went into the cave and there was nobody there, so had it all to ourselves. It was very nice and blue, no murky at all. It really was the Blue cave.

We surfaced and had a look at the inside, walls and ceiling.

For the second dive, we went to Yamada which was famous for the anemone fishes.

Somebody is staring from behind the fishes.

He was very good underwater. No wonder, he had done it a couple of times before. Why don't you take a course and get certified?

今日は連休も終わり、静けさが戻って来た中、真栄田岬で体験ダイビングをしてきました。

ゲストはフィリップ、フランスから。彼はただいま兵庫に仕事で来ていて、今回は短い休暇を取って沖縄まで遊びに来てくれました。

それにしても今日の真栄田岬はガラガラ。ボートもガラガラ。そしてコンディションは 超フラット！！こんな空き空きでベタベタにフラットな真栄田はいつぶりだろう？フィリップ、持ってるね。

洞窟の中も文字通り貸し切り状態で、濁りもなく真っ青。正に”青の洞窟”。水面にも上がって天井や壁も見れました。

２本目はたくさんのクマノミで有名なポイント、山田へ。
５種類のクマノミをはじめ、ヨウジフエダイの群れや、ヤガラ、等々たくさんの魚達がいました。

それにしてもフィリップは上手だな、と思っていたら、それもそのはず、以前に何度か体験ダイビングをやった事があるらしい。もう次はライセンス講習だね。

今日はありがとう、フィリップ。自分も楽しい時間を過ごせました。残りの日本での滞在も楽しんで。また会える事を楽しみにしてます。
