A south wind was blowing today, which made the day very warm like summer.
And we went to Cape Maeda for Advanced course day 2.

The student was Kim, same as yesterday. Today we were supposed to do deep dive and compass navigation.

Compass navigation. With a compass, she tried to make a triangle and square underwater, 15mtrs/50ft on a side. She actually did it very well, especially a triangle was spot on!!

While she was doing a compass navi, a huge group of Indian mackerel was swimming above her.

Their mouth were wide open.

We also found a leaf scorpion fish.

Well done Kim today. You have almost completed the course and so far so good.

今日はこの時期にしては珍しい南風で、もうメチャメチャ暖かかった。
そんな中アドバンスの第２日目を真栄田岬でやってきました。

ゲストは昨日に引き続き、キム。今日はディープダイビングとコンパスナビゲーションをやる予定。
コンパスナビゲーションはコンパスを使って、一辺が１５mの三角と四角を水中で泳ぎます。キムはとても上手で、特に三角はもうドンピシャ。

そんなコンパスナビを頑張ってるキムの上では、グルクマの群れがアゴが外れてるかのように口を開けて泳いでました。壮観。その他にもハダカハオコゼがいつもの場所で昼寝をしてました。

キム、今日はおつかれさま。後もう１本で認定だね。来週末に潜るのを楽しみにしてるよ。それまで良い一週間を。

明日からは強い北風が吹くらしい。ついにここ沖縄にも冬の到来？
