Today we went to the deep wreck in the north, USS Emmons.
The guest was Maxie for her 8th day diving with us. Dankeeeeeee!!
The weather was just fantastic.
Look at the colour of the water.
And let's start diving!
Bow part.
A giant anchor.
The huge propeller. Bigger than the diver.
The bombs stay still.
A canon pointing towards the sky.
Although you won't be able to tell from the photos, the current was very strong at the surface and even at the bottom. It went almost sideways. Well done Maxie!
And on top of these, a loggerhead turtle showed up during a safety stop, which was very cool.
Well, we of course swung by the best hamburger shop in Okinawa for lunch.

How was Emmons? It was very different to Kerama islands, Yonaguni, etc, so was good for a change, huh?
And tomorrow will be your last day, so let's have some more fun!
今日は北部に眠る沈船、USS エモンズまでダイビングに行ってきました。
ゲストはマキシー。何と今日で８日目。ケラマや与那国、色々と潜ったもんねー。
そんな今日はもう夏の様な天気。快晴・南風の中いざダイビング開始！
ロープに沿って潜行してくと、そこにはどデカいボディーが浮かび上がってきました。
１本目はまずは船首部分、その横に備え付けられた碇、大砲、の順番に。
２本目は船尾から潜り、巨大なプロペラ、魚雷、船のキール、等々。
まあとにかくデカく、何度潜ってもその迫力に圧倒されます。
そして安全停止中には何と珍しいアカウミガメまで登場してくれました。
今日はボトムまで行っても流れがかなり強く、結構苦労しましたが、マキシーはへっちゃら、余裕でした。
マキシー、今日もありがとう。
ケラマ、与那国、とは違ったダイビング、楽しんでくれたみたいで良かったです。
そして明日はいよいよ最終日。思い出に残るダイビングにしまっしょい！！
