Today we went to the deep wreck, USS Emmons.
USS Emmons is the American warship sunken during the World War 2. Its body is 100mtrs/330ft long and it has been sitting on the bottom in 40mtrs/130ft long of the sea near Kouri island since then.
Now it is popular among the experienced divers.
The guests were local dive bums, Asaka and Miho.
They got a craving for this deep wreck and finally made it together today.
The condition was super good.
A glassy surface.
And the current was nothing and the visibility was great as well.
In such a beautiful condition, we started descending towards the warship in the deep.
The 1st dive was from the centre to the stern.
The memorial board.
A huge propeller.
Torpedos.
Guys doing the stops.
The 2nd dive was from the bow to the stern.
This is how big it was.
It was just awesome. We really enjoyed diving USS Emmons.
Thanks Asaka and Miho for coming today.
How did you like Emmons? We usually go and look for macro creatures so it was a nice change, huh? Hope your photos turned out to be good.

今日は北部に眠る巨大な沈船、USS エモンズに潜りに行ってきました。
ゲストはローカルダイブバディ、アサカちゃんとミホちゃん。
２人ともずっと一緒に行きたがっていて、今日やっと実現しました。やったね。
そんな今日はコンディションも抜群。湖の様な海面に、流れ無し、透明度も素晴らしく、これ以上望めない様な条件でした。ラッキー。
そんな中、水底約４０mに眠るその巨大な駆逐艦を目指して、いざダイビング開始！！
１本目は胴体中央部から船尾にかけて探検。
どデカいプロペラやキールに、並んだ魚雷等を見ました。
そして２本目は船首から中央部にかけて。
まずは船尾からのその雄大なボディを写真におさめ、その後は巨大なアンカー、大砲等々こちらもかなりの見応え。
２本に分けて、隅々までじっくりと味わってきました。
アサカちゃん、ミホちゃん、今日はありがとう。
エモンズ、どうだった？いつも探しに行く小さな生物とは真逆の巨大な物体。迫力は凄かったね。いい写真が撮れてたらいいね。
そして今度はワイドレンズ買って再チャレンジしよう。
